Motivation
Als ich gehört hab, dass R n R nach Israel fährt, war ich sofort begeistert! Ich finde das Land wunderschön und mich interessieren sowohl die Menschen als auch die Kultur dort sehr! Ich kann es kaum glauben, dass ich die Möglichkeit habe, dort zu filmen und das Land zu erkunden!

Auch bin ich auf die kulturellen und sozialen Unterschiede gespannt. Ich hoffe neue Freundschaften schließen zu können!

Ich wohne in Köln und besuche zur Zeit die 13. Klasse. In meiner Freizeit arbeite ich gelegentlich in der Redaktion von Roots & Routes TV. Außerdem spiele ich Tennis und Klavier.

Motivation
Ich fahre gerne nach Israel, weil ich mich sehr für andere Kulturen und die Mentalität der Menschen interessiere, die mich schon bei mehreren Reisen fasziniert hat. Die Reise nach Israel sehe ich nicht nur wegen des geschichtlichen Hintergrunds - auch in Bezug auf die deutsche Geschichte - und der Förderung der Völkerverständigung als besonders wichtig an, sondern auch, weil ich die Verbindung mit Medien auch als Mittel zum Kennenlernen für dieses Land als sehr sinnvoll betrachte. Ich sehe in der Reise eine Horizonterweiterung, sowohl medientechnisch als auch interkulturell.

Zu meiner Person
ich bin ziemlich aufgeweckt und bin schnell von Dingen begeistert. Bin gerne unter Leute und Unterhalte sie auch hin und wieder. Ich bin ziemlich Kreativ, zeichne und gestalte gern. Nebenbei spiel ich Gitarre, Musik ist eine große Leidenschaft von mir.

Motivation
Ich freu mich sehr bei dem Projekt dabei sein zu dürfen. Als ich gehört habe, dass ein Film gedreht wird war ich sofort überzeugt, da ich mich sehr für andere Kulturen Interessiere. Die Idee sich mit Jugendlichen, aus anderen Ländern auszutauschen find ich Klasse. Ich werde mein Möglichstes bei dem Projekt tun und freu mich schon auf die Videobeiträge.

Hello folks,
my name is Sebastian Kesper and I am 20 years old.

As I finished school last year I do a nine-months-ling civil service at the moment. In August I will enter university to study buisness studies.

I am a scout and I do kickboxing as a free-time activity. In 10th grade I spent a year in Thailand and I met a lot of people from all over the world. Since comingback to Germany I work for a student exchange called AFS where I help international students to adopt to their life in Germany and explain German culture to them. Therefore I love to meet interesting new people from different countries and I am looking forward to meet the young people from Israel that we will work with. Ganz klar: es gibt nichts besseres, als eine andere Kultur mitzuerleben. Und weshalb sollte man denn nicht die Gelegenheit beim Schopfe packen und in eine für mich ganz fremde Kultur eintauchen? Ich freue mich immer wieder, wenn ich mit anderen Leuten kommunizieren kann und bin dabei sehr froh, dass ich einem meiner Hobbies nachgehen

Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Kauffrau im Einzelhandel, habe ich im Oktober 2008 mein Studium bei der Deutschen Pop Köln als Musikerin angefangen. Nebenher bin ich auch als Tänzerin und Tanzlehrerin im Bereich Hip Hop und Breakdance beschäftigt und erledige für Roots & Routes TV gerne Schnitt, Kamera und Moderation. Ich habe hierdurch die Erfahrung machen können, dass die Öffentlichen Medien immer nur eine Perspektive zeigen.

Beispiel Breakdance:
Es wird immer gezeigt, dass diejenigen, die Breakdance tanzen, akrobaten sind - keiner zeigt, was aber hinter der Fassade steckt. Breakdance ist eine Leidenschaft, eine Kultur, eine Lebensweise des HipHop. Es ist mehr als nur ein Tanz!
Richtig erörtert wurde dies aber noch nicht.

Das gleiche gilt für Israel. In den Medien wird immer nur die “schlechte” Seite gezeigt. Terrorismus, Entführung, Krieg…
Was aber ist mit dem Leben außerhalb dessen? Ich möchte dies erörten - das alltägliche Leben in Israel -  ich möchte dies selbst erleben und dokumentieren. Dies ist der Grund, warum ich als Teilnehmerin nach Israel fliege.
